The Austin Galano Club is more than just a building—it’s a sanctuary. To keep our space safe, caffeinated, and running smoothly, we are looking for a dedicated Part-Time Club Manager to join our team.
The Details
Schedule: 12–15 hours per week (primarily evenings and weekends).
Flexibility: While your on-site hours are focused on the evening, you’ll stay connected to handle urgent matters and coordinate with volunteers.
Transportation:Â Reliable personal transportation is a must for supply runs and responding to on-site needs.
Pay: 20 dollars an hour.
What You’ll Be Doing
As the Club Manager, you are the "eyes and ears" of the AGC. Your responsibilities span from tech to teamwork:
Facility & Safety Oversight: You’ll manage our security systems (cameras, alarms, and door access) and serve as the on-site point of contact for member concerns or conduct issues.
The Coffee & Supply Hub: You’ll be the hero behind the coffee bar! This includes placing monthly orders with our coffee vendor and keeping the club stocked with everything from sodas and water to literature and bathroom supplies.
Volunteer Coordination: You’ll play a vital role in our Coffee Bar Volunteer and Community Service programs: orienting new participants, verifying attendance, and maintaining the logs that keep the program running.
Communication Central: You’ll be the bridge between members, meeting leaders, and the AGC Board, ensuring everyone is informed and the club remains a welcoming environment.
Who You Are
You’re someone who doesn’t mind a "flexible" rhythm. You’re organized enough to stay ahead of inventory needs and responsive enough to handle a call from a volunteer or a vendor. You enjoy working independently and value being part of a community-driven mission.
