Join us for the Austin Pride Festival & Parade on Saturday, 8/23! Here’s how you can help bring the love:
Strut your stuff: Walk in the Pride Parade and rock your favorite Galano swag! Contact David M. at david.m@austingalano.org ahead of time or meet at the State Capital by 7 p.m. The parade is 1.3 to 1.5 miles long—a fun and vibrant stroll heading south from the Capitol to the Congress Avenue Bridge.
Pride mobile: Got a cool ride? Help us roll through the parade in style! We’ll glam up your car with rainbows, flags, and maybe even a unicorn! Parade starts at 8 p.m. Let’s deck out your ride ahead of time! Contact David M. at david.m@austingalano.org. Please make sure your wheels’ registration and insurance are current, they will check.
Booth it up: Sign up for a 2-hour shift at the Galano booth and get free entry to the festival at Fiesta Gardens! Chat with folks, spread the word about our club and membership program, and hand out icy-cool Galano towels. Festival is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Two-hour shifts start at 10 a.m. Visit Pride Fest Volunteer Signup.
